Kurt Russell's big fat ego

He was maybe too harsh in reacting to the announcement 300's Gerard Butler would be playing Snake Plissken in a new movie, but I understand the sentiment. It must be annoying to see a character you created and dedicated so much time and effort to be suddenly adopted by a new actor who will no doubt change very much, if not everything about the character.

And Kurt Russell still kicks ass. He was great in Death Proof, Quentin Tarantino's half of Grindhouse.

First off, there's absolutely NO reason to remake "Escape From NY". It's perfect as it is and Kurt IS Snake. He wasn't comparing himself to Connery, he was making an analogy (a good one IMHO). I never understood the whole .007 thing, personally. Guess it just wasn't my era... I always considered Roger Moore to be the best Bond. There have been, what, 5 Bonds? There should be only one Snake.

Kurt has been on my list of men since I was old enough to make a list (I think he was a Disney actor back then). I can't imagine anyone else being Snake.

He can bring his big fat ego to my house anytime! (Or just tell me where his big fat ego will be and I'll travel.)

Love the accent. How did you get to know him?
He's an old boyfriend, Geek

The quote is a reference to Lloyd Bentsen's #####-slap to Dan Quayle comparing himself (of a sorts) to JFK during a debate.
