anyone every heard of/used kurzweil 3000. it's writing prediction software. porbably not something most of you would deal with but i thought i'd ask.

do you have personal experience with the program? I'd like to look into it for some of my students but it's a pretty big expenditure from wht I can tell.

Prince George's County Public Schools uses Kurzweil. I've had no experience with it, but I worked with a lady who used the program everyday. She spoke highly of it.

This threw me way off because I thought it was about piano keyboards. Kurzweil makes some of the best piano keyboard synths in the music industry.

Kind of one-in-the-same.... Ray Kurzweil started both companies (I don't think he's involved anymore). He was making devices to read books to the blind and hooked up with Stevie Wonder and started working on the keyboards.

He's really an amazing guy:

His book, The Age of Spiritual Machines, is mind-blowing!

What county are you in?

We use the program here in Charles County. Actually, if you're in Calvert or St. Mary's, you should give us a call.
