According to Laist, L.A. City Councilman Paul Koretz introduced a motion on Tuesday that would mandate vegan options be made available in various public spaces, such as large-scale entertainment venues, airport terminals, sports stadiums, and movie theaters. Though L.A. World Airports, which operates LAX, currently has one vegan restaurant, "Real Food Daily," the law could force every terminal to install at least one "vegan protein entree food option," depending on the feasibility.

Councilman Paul Koretz told reporters that inspiration for the law stemmed from the rising number of vegans in Los Angeles and, of course, climate change. "We only have a few years to dramatically drop our greenhouse gas production and production of beef items, especially, generates so much methane. Without reducing our beef consumption, it's going to be very difficult for us to reduce climate change," he said.

Koretz thinks that mandating public venues to sell a certain kind of food is not only the environmentally conscious thing to do, but also the fairest. "It makes sense from a fairness perspective, an environmental perspective, but also it makes sense in terms of marketing," he says.

well that is Progress, at least SOME Progressives FINALLY Admit HUGE Amounts of CO2 Come From Cows / Pigs

However business owners are not clueless, if there was a Market for Vegan Food, they would serve it

Dictating what a business should sell will lead to more food waste and shuttered businesses

So what are they going to do with all the left-over vegan crap that nobody buys? Oh..right...landfills. Where it degrades to produce lots of methane.

So what happens when we stop slaughtering cattle and pigs for food?
We stop keeping them on farms and let them run free?
They will stop breeding?

If they keep breeding they keep farting---or do we slaughter them to keep down the population and leave the meat to rot?

I would expect a 'no breeding after this date' decree .. slaughter most of what remains turn loose a few hundred ... nature can take its course after that

if Vegans, Zero Population types and Tree Huggers were serious, they would off themselves and quit being a burden to Mother Earth

instead they continue showing their Hypocrisy by sticking around trying to control the rest of us

since The Bible is a 'fairy tale book' they have nothing to fear in death .... like burning in Hell for all eternity since that is a Fairy Tale

How do you tell animals they cannot Breed? We have seen nature take it's course in St. Mary's with dead deer on the side of the road after being hit by cars.
Wait until it's wild boars and cattle in the road. And what will these wild cattle and pigs do to farmers crops?
