Just want to let people know about a good experience I had at LaPlata Tire Center on Tuesday. My car has some weird tire on it and I went everywhere in Waldorf and LaPlata and was surprised that no one wanted to help or get this particular tire. I went to Laplata Tire Center (the last place I went, and now I wished I went there first) and he found it in 5 minutes and I got them on today.

Only reason I am posting this is because I really got a run around from the other dealers (5 others and not naming names) and was surprised on how poor customer service has gotten in the retail world. Hard to find good people these days.

Big Eds Tire

Ive never been to that store I usually deal with Eddie down at Big Ed's Tire in leonardtown md. I know what you are saying, he is very honest and does not try to rip people off. When I take my car to his shop I knoe i will be taken care of. He should change the name to Big Eds so people will realize the connection between the 2 stores. Ive been his customer since the late 80s and im not going anywhere else. I dont care what the big stores say they have to offer, I know what Im getting when I go to his store or should I say one of his stores.. A++++ rating by my book! You here now a days shop local but here is someone that gives a good a reason to leave the chain stores alone.

Exactly! I've known that boy all his life and I used to deal with his grandfather too. I think he was Bresamil's dad. All the guys that work for Eddie are good too if he's not there. :howdy:

very nice visit today!!!!

I was under the impression that I was in for a very expensive visit when my car began to run very poorly today while on my way to target. It lost power and I coasted into La Plata tire. A gentleman named who was at the counter when I walked inside named Eddie came out with one other young man who was in the shop working and they pushed my car the rest of the way into the parking lot. To make a long story short, They hooked a red box to it and scanned it and brought to my attention what was wrong,(a coil something when bad), they gave me a quote and I agreed,they ordered a part which got there in good time and got me going again. My car actually runs better than it has run in a long time! And I got to go to target and back home before the kids got off the bus!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!!: yahoo:
