I agree but give the owners some credit....they could have just dumped them on a road somewhere. That happens all the time. At the shelter they are housed, fed, given vet attention if needed, and at least have some chance of getting adopted or taken in by a rescue. That beats wandering around in the cold lost and hungry.

I would love to take the chocolate lab...I have a female yellow lab about the same age, not sure I could handle 3 dogs (they would take up way too much room on my bed at night, lol ) but would love to have the chocolate lab....
