Okay, I like it! :cartwheel

It sat in the house for several days before the installer came, and I kept looking at it :twitch: Decided I hated it and had made a terrible mistake.

But it looks fantastic! I was afraid it would look plasticy and fake, but it really looks nice! :yay:

I have laminate flooring in my living room, hallway and three bedrooms (kids). It's been in 7 years and still looks great!

Very pretty, did they finish getting it all in?
No, it's just the one guy working by himself, so he got the MB done and part of the hallway. He'll be back bright and early tomorrow to finish the rest.

How does it "feel" when you walk on it? I had some Pergo for a short while in my kitchen (before I had it taken up and replaced with hardwood), and it "felt" a little hollow...like it had a weird sound when you stepped on it. It's hard to describe, but I'm thinking that perhaps it hadn't been installed properly, or maybe it was just an inferior product. I'm hopeful that the laminate has improved in the past two years, because I'd like to get rid of the carpet in Bubba's room and replace it with laminate or hardwood flooring.

That will happen if your sub floor is not completely level. We had spots that needed to be fixed before I put the floor in. You will end up with spots under the floor that have a slight hollow space.

I also knew someone that didn't follow the directions and they didn't leave the 1/2 inch expansion room at each wall. When summer came around the floor expanded with the humidity and buckled in places.

I just got done mopping my entire upstairs! :faint: But I wouldn't trade my hardwood for nothing in the world!! It's beautiful!

I think I can see a scratch in the floor only pic. Do you see it? Or is it cat hair?

I installed a Mohawk laminate system in my house because they had the widest planks at the time. Looked beautiful but floor developed wicked static build up that usually unloaded through me when I touched any metal in the kitchen. It was so loud my daughter could hear the pop in the next room? Had to unload on the cat a few times to so I dragged my feet across the floor and had the cat come over for a treat! :lmao:

It's a piece of debris - I saw it too in the pic and investigated.

It's Mohawk "Sienna Oak".

Feels good. It's very solid.

Jani B and I walked all over it tonight with our shoes on and off to get a feel for it.

Looks great! I can't wait to see the finished product. :yay:

And I'm thinking that would look absolutely spectacular in my bedroom. Hmm...

Did you know 1 in 10 people are gay. Kinsey did a study and most of the "straight" men (not me so it must be one of your other male friends) you know probably have had homosexual experiences themselves. It's becoming socially "acceptable" in straight circles to have NSA (no strings attached) casual encounters where the straight man is serviced by the gay man with no need to reciprocate.

I doubt this is true.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I think adolescent sexual experimentation is fairly normal.

I think the whole thing is bunk.
