Watched episodes 1 & 2 on Paramount. Billy Bob Thornton is so good at portraying the character he is cast as. I enjoyed it, I think the next episode is next week.

I admit, he's not everybodys cup of tea, but, he is just so good at whatever character he plays. Slingblade, Fargo, even Bad Santa. And I havent heard him once express his political views and I've never seen his name in the news when it comes to all the other freaks in Hollywood.
I saw it Sunday after Yellowstone and it looked good but I don't want to get sucked into another Taylor Sheridan show.
I do love BBT, though. His characters, I mean. You can usually count on him to be good at what he does.

We watched the three episodes last night. BBT is good at all the characters he portrays as is John Hamm. I don't think the slutty daughter and ex wife add a good balance to the show; they could be toned down. Their characters feel really exaggerated. I'm sure they have big plans for the son (Cooper) but he doesn't impress me so far.
This series doesn't feel like it is going to captivate people like Yellowstone did but I'll give it a chance.

Yellowstone got ridiculous and you could tell the writers didn't care anymore. I'm watching the rest because I get it on my regular cable channel but if it were a book I'd be skipping ahead to get to the end and get it over with.
