PGPD Landover Homicide Under Investigation

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in Landover. The victim is 34-year-old Anthony Forest of Washington, DC.

On October 22, 2021, at approximately 5:40 pm, officers responded to the 1900 block of Belle Haven Drive for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers located Forest in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.



Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this case.
