Lane's Beach Fire?

Anyone hearing about fire trucks to Lane's Beach in valley Lee? Sounds like at least 6 have gone to scene. Oops. another one coming in.

Thanks, Just had someone stop by looking for the number of home owners friend. Take it she may be an elderly woman. She just got home and smelled smoke. Something about it starting at an outside light, so probably electrical malfunction. Six trucks, but they ran out of water, so I guess the two that left came back with H2O. And yes it sounds like the roof was already fully engaged.

The trucks were constantly coming and going for water. I think it may be out now. There was some white smoke up there but now it's gone. The trucks are starting to leave. I hope the owner has somewhere to stay.

I was there. It was originally dispatched as a light fixture on the front of the house on fire. By the time 61 (first due engine) arrived, they had fire through the house. Hose was handjacked down the driveway (which was pretty long) and they ran out of water. 25 minutes in, they requested atleast three additional pumper tankers/tankers. House is pretty much destroyed. There were a total of 9 engines and/or pumper tankers when it was all said and done.
