Laptop Brightness

Battery died a few months ago so I have been tethered to a plug until I received my new one the other day.

Now when I unplug from the cord and use just battery power, the screen brightness goes down lower. I tried adjusting the brightness, but it does nothing.

Ideas?

It might be a feature on your laptop. To save power it reduces the brightness when running on battery. Check your settings. The brighter the screen the more juice it sucks up. Just a thought.

Oh, yes we do.

Oh, the irony. I clicked to play the video and it said "an error occurred, please try later." :killingme

That's funny. :roflmao:

It's almost magical how a woman can make a floppy drive turn into a hard drive and with some more handiwork turn it back into a floppy drive.

The female IT rep at work really knows how to repair a computer. What were you thinkin? :nono: :eyebrow: :lmao:

Just as long as there's not a boot sector error or a premature hardware failure, it's all good.

I've been an IT pro for many years - I do know a thing or two about the subject.

And while you guys were having such a nice conversation, I gave Rose my floppy.

She gratefully accepted it.
