That must have been awesome! Can you imagine being re-enlisted there?
I think the neatest re-enlistment my dad ever attended was an underwater one for a friend who was a scuba diver. I don't know that he actually went underwater
but the other guy did! We have pictures of them on the shore. It was in Italy.

When I reenlisted as a Chief, my brother swore me in. It was cool! (The check was small, but at least I got something!)
I did a couple of reenlistments for my folks at the Navy Memorial in D.C. They were fun.
