Laser Therapy

I have scheduled for my 11 year old lab to start laser therapy next week to help with his arthritis/ very mild hip dysplasia. I'm trying to find out if anyone has had any experience with these treatments and what you thought of the treatment itself as well as the outcome. I'm basically willing to try anything to help him be more comfortable.

I've never heard of that kind of Therapy. I wish you luck with it, and hope that you let us know how it worked.

... guy I work with had worked at a facitlity that did this.... he did say he saw some great results... but FYI you may see decreased results first..but dont give up things will get better.

I will definitely update this thread since it seems there isn't a lot of knowledge/experience with it. I'm having it done at Indian Head Animal Hospital off of 210. The initial round of therapy is 6 sessions. 3 the first week, 2 the second, and 1 the last. It costs roughly $300 total for these 6 depending on the size of the area and for chronic pain they say maintenance is required, usually around 1 session a month ($50). The costs is low enough that I'm more than willing to take the gamble for results. Thanks for your responses.
