Revelation 18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say:
“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
6 Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
6 Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.

Here's the link to the commentary I read.
Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins: It is inconceivable that a child of God could be a part of religious Babylon (though elements may creep in). But commercial Babylon, with its materialistic lure, is a constant threat to be guarded against.
Lest you receive of her plagues: The warning is focused towards saints who are in the position Lot was in while he lived in the city of Sodom (Genesis 19). These are God’s people in a place they shouldn’t be, a place ripe for destruction.
Come out of her: The call to depart from Babylon and the worldliness that it represents is a theme repeated frequently in the Scriptures.
For her sins have reached to heaven: The sins of commercial Babylon have piled up like a tower — the tower of Babel.
Render to her just as she rendered to you: The ancient Greek word for render (apodidomi) means literally “to pay a debt” or “to give back that which is due.” God will give Babylon exactly what she deserves.
Repay her double according to her works… mix for her double: Double restitution was required in the Old Testament in cases of theft (Exodus 22:4-9). This perhaps is a commentary on how Babylon has made her wealth — through dishonest dealings.
Repay her double according to her works: This passage presents a three-fold sin. First, self-indulgence (lived luxuriously). Second, pride (glorified herself… sits as a queen). Third, avoidance of suffering (am no widow, and will not see sorrow). All these things are characteristic of worldliness and materialism.
Therefore her plagues will come in one day: The destruction of commercial Babylon will come suddenly and with completeness (utterly burned with fire).

So, this must be where the last of the Christians are taken from earth. These verses must be about the period right before Jesus mounts His horse, gathers His troops, and returns. One last chance. That's what we get. One last chance to admit we Believe. It'll be rough, our demise is on the line.
Do you really hate Jesus or are you a closet Christian but find posting as agnostic or atheist is more fun or at least more daring, rendering higher click counts?
Babylon... the unbelievers and nonbelievers.... will be charged not only with the sins they committed but the damage they did to Believers as well.
When we go to church, and the preacher teaches a lie, and we find out it is a lie, but we don't call the preacher out, or we just become a Pew Warmer in the apostate church instead of a Real Church because we are afraid... the preacher who lied to us will answer up as well.
We go to church to learn, to share, to be around other Christians. If the church has gone apostate, how is the baby Christian going to know?
If we go to church to learn, and they hand us a fake Bible to read, does the guilt ride on us, them, or both.
I depended the preacher for the first few decades I was in the churches. Some of what I was taught was indeed pure crap. In one church I attended in Florida, the preacher had a book burning because "only the King James Version" was true.
A Nazarene Preacher taught from the NIV translation. The lights came on like the streak of light the angel brought in yesterday's verses when I read from the NIV translation. It was in my language.... no "thee" or "thou" mess to confuse me! I could read and understand the truth. Consider thou this.... what???? Even CoPilot wants to translate "consider thou this" to "consider this though".
Sure, the Holy Spirit was there to translate... but it wasn't time for me to learn, I guess. I listened to a lot of crap before I could finally read it for myself. I guess it took decades for me to finally "get the message" because I wasn't ready to understand. Some may say I wasn't a Christian because if I was, I would have been able to understand the KJV. Well, we don't hand babies a steak instead of a bottle of milk. They get milk first. If the milk is sour, well they don't know the milk is sour and they can't be blamed for spitting up on mom.
Babylon is a bitch. She'll pay for every lie she fed humans. She'll be rich, but she won't have anyone to flaunt it in front of. She'll pay for leaving humans hungry. She'll pay double.
If a church burns the evidence, how am I supposed to know?
If a church is in it for the money, how is a new Christian supposed to know?
What about the people who were on a Mission, who were needed in the chaos of End Times? Well, like the people in the field hospitals in battles, Jesus is saying it's time to "Bug Out!".
What about the people who started to Believe when the four horsemen mounted up? What about the people who bought the rancid lies of the apostate church too late to avoid the four horsemen?
These verses must be the "Last Call".
"Last Call... Bug Out!!!"
