Charles Co. Last day of school for students is June 12; teachers last day is June 13

The last day of the 2018-19 school year for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students is Wednesday, June 12. The last day for teachers is Thursday, June 13. Two-hour early dismissal days are June 7, June 10, June 11 and June 12. The last day for students in the CCPS three-year-old program is Wednesday, June 5.

The schedule is set, barring any unforeseen inclement weather circumstances. The school system used two of the four inclement weather days built into the calendar this year: Jan. 14 and Feb. 20.

The last day of school for morning prekindergarten students is Wednesday, June 12. The last day of school for afternoon prekindergarten students is Tuesday, June 11. Prekindergarten students will receive their report cards on their last day of school. Students in the three-year-old program receive report cards on June 5.

All other elementary school students receive report cards on the last day of school, June 12. Report cards for middle and high school students will be mailed on Friday, June 21.

The 2019 Summer School program is set to begin Tuesday, July 9 at St. Charles High School. Summer School graduation is 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 in the St. Charles auditorium. Information about Summer School registration will be announced at a later date.
