Last night - Chingville

I don't have a scanner, but the dogs went off at 3:30 about sirens on 244. Then at 4, helicopter back & forth on Potomac in front of me (so it seemed) 4 times. Got to see the starry sky, but heard someone med-evaced from Chancellors. Any info? Know a lot of people in the area, and the young ones are who I'm afraid were out at 3:00.

So that's what all that was. I heard it. I knew it was the State cha-puh; didn't have to look.

There was an accident right by Ridge Path Way in Redgate. P/U truck struck another vehicle and then ran into a telephone pole. Not much left of the front of the truck, but didn't see the other car. SMECO was outside working for quite a few hours Saturday morning. I've been looking for more details on what actually happened and haven't found any yet. Post if you find them.

That's what is was. I went by there around 0830 Saturday taking the pups to the park and there were SMECO trucks down both sides of the road. Skid marks all over the road too. Must of been pretty bad.
