U.S. District Judge George J. Hazel today sentenced Robert Carl Diienno, age 32, formerly of Laurel, Maryland, to two years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for enticing three victims to travel in interstate commerce for the purposes of prostitution. Judge Hazel also ordered that, upon his release from prison, Diienno must register as a sex offender in the places where he resides, where he is an employee, and where he is a student, under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).
