The marinade extends shelf life. I guess.

Had it for dinner, fresh off the grill and just had some for lunch.

sounds good. similar recipe i have is chicken in container and pour a bottle of Paul Newmans Italian salad dressing on it, throw in fridge and when you think about it shake container. I admit have not left it in the fridge for 4 or 5 days, have mixed it up on a friday and then thrown it on the grill sat. evening or sunday evening. makes some pretty good tasting chicken critters.

As long as you floss every day, bad germs cannot kill you. So eat the rancid chicken with clear conscience. :yay:

Wasn't there an episode on "SoMD.com - The Days of Our Lives" about the time K_Jo tried to kill her husband with raw chicken left out at room temperature for hours and hours?

I also seem to recall that her trap to kill him almost worked. He recovered from his food-bourne ailment with no ill effects, but with no trust to ever eat a chicken meal prepared by K_Jo ever again.

So goes, the Days of Our Lives.

Tune in for tomorrow's episode.......

Chicken and pork chops marinated in balsamic vinaigrette is especially yummy. Found out when I realized at the last minute that I didn't have italian dressing. Glad I didn't have it.
