Here's the link to the commentary I use.Here's a personal verse. Look at verse 6. Y'all know a retinal surgeon blinded me a couple years ago. He didn't do it on purpose, but it happened when he did the surgery. I could see when I met him. I could see when I walked into surgery that morning. I had some floaters. But I could see. I had floaters. Now I am blind in one eye.
I tried to sue the guy to cover the costs I would, will, incur now that I'm blind in one eye, but I failed. I could not afford an expert witness. Retinal Surgeons in Arizona don't carry Malpractice Insurance. So... in order to sue them, the victim has to pay an expert witness at least $1,500 for their time. It's the law.
I don't have $1,500. I definitely wouldn't have the hourly fee once it went to court. So, since I couldn't find a retinal doc that would do it for a price, I could manage... my case got dismissed.
IMHO that is denying justice to the poor.
I bet the lawyers and the judge and the clerk sit in the front of the church where everyone can see them.... and don't even think about what they have done. After all, it's their job to get the surgeon off anyway they can. So, their work to deny justice to me... well, it's covered because they are "good employees".
I would love to title these verses... "Don't be a greedy lying pig".... BUT.
