there's a total of 6 employees/former employees against an employer for a long, long list of things... might possibly go further, such as, the outsourced HR company that never handled the situation.

Well, now that sounds interesting. IF the employer's are 'locals' and well known you may as well plan on going out of the county for a lawyer. No local lawyer is going to go after a 'countian'.
