Leather Bags

I've never been real big on handbags, mostly because of the prices. That said, my new favorite leather bag company is Stone Mountain Leather. Quality product, decent prices.

Searching for my next bag. If you decide to buy, just watch for "man made" trim, because they do have some of those.

I have this bag https://www.stonemountainhandbags.com/cell-phone-plugged-in-bags/plug-in-pebble-leather-trifecta
and this wallet https://www.stonemountainhandbags.com/wallets/ludlow-large-zip-around-wallet in black/floral.

Ooh, I like those! I have been looking for a replacement wallet for awhile. I like the one you have but in black and tan. :yay:

I hear you! I try to keep my bag small just so I don't have the ability to haul a bunch of crap around. I do like the floral but didn't see it as a choice. :sshrug:

I didn't see it, either. It may have been discontinued/out of stock. I think they have a matching tote. I'd have to double check the pattern. I wouldn't mind having that but, it's not really practical.

It's a shame if it's discontinued as it is very pretty. My current bag is black/brown and I really like that combo, but it is not real leather and beginning to show its age. And I don't like the wallet I have. They're both about 4 years old now and I think it's time to treat myself to a new bag and wallet.

I noticed that. I do like this bag, but it is canvas and vinyl.

I bought both of mine from the store, so I was able to handle them before buying. I think you just have to read carefully before ordering.

I looked around to see who carries them and found Kohl's does locally. I have also bought things from Beall's online and they have great prices on them. Too bad there is not a store near here.

Patricia Nash makes some very nice real leather purses. I bought one when I was in NY but it is much too small for my everyday use.

There are some cute bags on that site!

I need a larger every day bag. I throw everything into it. But when I go out, I like a small body cross bag.

We have 2 Bealls stores. One at each end of town. Most of the time I don't see anything I like. I was in there a few days ago...tried on 5 pair of jeans, and hated every pair. Never heard of the brands, but I don't care about that if I like the jeans. I also want to find some 1940's style trousers.

They can be quite a splurge sometimes. But it's awesome that you've come across a brand like Stone Mountain Leather that offers both quality and reasonable prices. Your bag and wallet combo in black/floral looks really stylish, and it's great to hear that you're satisfied with their products. Thanks a bunch for sharing the link to their website; I'll definitely give it a closer look when I'm in the market for my next bag. Also, I found some helpful tips on one blog, https://vonbaer.com/, for leather care and craftsmanship. You might find them helpful, too.
