Anyone know of a place that can replace a heavy duty zipper on a leather jacket locally?

Nope. But that would be some good information to have. Along with a good place to get a pair of boots re-soled. I know there's an amish place in Loveville that does leather work, but I don't know the name of it. I'll have to do some searchin'.

It is going to be a chilly ride home.

I called Jamminleather and they will fix it free if I ship it to them, then wait a couple weeks.

I took a leather bag to a guy to have the zipper fixed. It was a few years ago -- down near Big Lots, I think. I can't remember exactly, but maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about.

PS - you can borrow my leather pants until yours are fixed. :huggy:

Damn dude, you have a "blow out" on the way to work? I thought you were on the path to LOSING weight.

I was freakin' cold on MY way in to work this morning too, or at least for the first 10 minutes. My remote starter ain't workin'. I think the battery is shot in the FOB. Dammit. No warm cab to start my morning. THAT sucked. It'll be the same to start the way home too. So I feel for ya.

Maybe you could also try the Harley Dealer in Mechanicsville. They might have contacts locally that do leather repair. Good Luck

Well the zipper has been finicky since I got the jacket. I should have sent it back before but I procrastinated. The thing would come undone from the bottom unless you zipped it a certain way that involved hopping on one foot and twisting the pull tab thingy to the right.

Well this morning I was getting ready and the zipper jammed, I goofed with it and thought it was ok until I got to Sheetz when it came undone from the bottom again and opened up like a parachute.

Once I got to work I found a toth broken off and now it wont stay zipped at all. I am going to freeze. Good thing I have a windshield.
