I think everyone should take a close look at their PIP coverage. In some cases, the max OOP the insurance company will cover is sooooo minimal. You think you have a policy for $300K when in fact it caps at $2500. :ohwell:
PIP is a seperate part of your policy. the maximum (in MD) is 10,000 and the minimum is 2,500. But that is per person in the vehicle. So the other person in his car would also have PIP coverage.

I highly recommend that everyone look at their uninsured/underinsured motor vehicle coverage. the person that hit Magnum could have only had 25/50/25 the state minimum. what that stands for is 25,000 per person/ 50,000 total per accident/ and 25,000 per vehicle. i am sure his new subaru was more than 25,000.

That is the result of SHOCK....body continues to function until the "trauma" is over.
It is after shock wears off that you find all the bumps and briuses, etc.

Like all your friends here...

We could work different shifts

Magnum, if you are refusing medical evaluation now and something arises later, you may be putting yourself into a position with you won't have any coverage for your medical expenses. Your health insurance won't want to pay because it's related to the accident, and your vehicle insurance (or the other driver's insurance) won't want to pay because you didn't seek treatment/diagnosis after the accident.

Well thanks for the concern everyone but I really am fine. I've crashed harder and 4-wheelers and dirtbikes than I did today. I am working on getting the pics up now, also trying to make an appointment for tomorrow to see the Doc so everyone will stop bugging me.
