Leg Bruising

I figured I would post this here too since the Medical thread doesn't get alot of responses.

Leg Bruising

I was wondering if anyone has experienced leg bruising for no apparant reason?

I went to the Kid Rock concert (Awesome I might ad) the other night and after standing barefoot (I had sandals on so I took them off) on the concrete all night I expected my legs to hurt. That was Thursday night and they still hurt! Not to mention, by Friday morning my inner thighs had a HUGE bruise on them, as big as my hand just about and the backs of my calfs also had bruises. Not to mention they still hurt! Its weird to me because I work out often at Curves and do not experience this. I am taking care of my uncle who just had an amputation due to blood clots so I'm a little freaked over the leg thing. Could this be a symptom of blood clots?

Any input would be appreciated!!!! :kiss:

When that happens to me I'm usually anemic. You should have a doctor check it out, it's better to know from a doctor than a bunch of forum :crazy:

No, its not drug abuse. I have not touched a drug since I was about 15 and tried pot....sorry not the case here. Sorry to disapoint you....

Could be anything from an iron deficiency to bone spurs (from dancing barefoot on concrete all night you numskull). Have a doc check it out especially since you have a family history of clotting. He'll prolly recommend an x-ray to start off with though.

This is what you get for going to a Kid Rock concert with out me.

LMAO! Your nuts....I should not have really said inner thighs because its not....its more like the top side of my leg in between my knee and hip.

I figured it was probably from the dancing on the concrete thingy but it was just weird that it bruised so badly and so high up on my leg.

And next time.....I will have to take you to Kid Rock so you can tell all these loco's that it wasn't from drugs or uh hum fornication-related that it was from plain old dancing like a nut to Kid Rock!

I am completely non-judgemental...... That being said, see your Doctor. Leg bruising can be a symptom of " Trick" (Trichomonas vaginalis) This is an STD that infects more than one million females in America each year. Don't panic! It can be fixed.

There are also several medications that can cause this condition including OTC meds like shark oil.

The scary digagnosis like Luekemia most likely do not apply. Call the Doc!

STD's are rampant! Every 5th person in America has one! God, this terrifies me! Disease and infection everywhere. Makes sex completely not worth it!
