55 Gallon drums that were used to ship HO gasoline, can you refill then as storage containers?

Storage containers for what? I store used motor oil and antirfreeze in 55 gallon plastic drums. We transport diesel fuel to the island in 55 gallon plastic drums. All the 55-gal drums I have came from the oil terminal here in PP.....once contained various fuel additives.

Sorry I should have been clearer. Gasoline, can you reuse them as gasoline storage/ transport containers?
