Back in 2003 we went to the tri-county Humane Society and found a young male Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix.
Since we "busted him outa da slammer," we invented a gangland background for our new dog Lenny. Born in Sicily as Leonardo d'Angelico Vespucci, he eventually made his way to Southern Maryland, where he was "unjustly detained by da authorities" for vagrancy. However, da family busted him outa da slammer and he is now a made man. He spends a lot of time looking out the window, like any good mafioso would do to protect da godfaddah.
