Went last night for dinner. Was so disappointed. And it was my idea to go there. Food was so-so. Rolls hard. But the service was horrible. And no one was there (one other couple). Should have gone to Ruby's like someone had suggested.
I've never had a good experience at Lenny's. I've been there a ton of times and worked there years ago. I've seen many rave about it on here, but I'll never go back.

I've been there several times, sometimes for functions/parties, and each time I went I was thinking, well people just rave about this place, and every time it's always mediocre at best. Usually cold food and crappy service, whether I'm at a dining room table or in the banquet hall. I don't go of my own free will anymore.

I don't get it. I've been 2 or 3 times, many years ago. Never understood how it does so much business, when they're mediocre, at best.

I've seen several threads about the place. I try oh so hard to keep quiet about it because of my distain for the owner and his wife. Having worked there in the past and watching a family member (former employee) get treated like crap by them for years, I have no need to support their business. But, I've gone with friends because it was their suggestion. I will not spend my money in there again. I've declined a few gatherings with friends because they insisted on going there. The food and service were just that horrible.
Unfortunately, some people consider that fine dining. Along with Cracker Barrel.

I used to love Lenny's and had never had a bad meal or service there. Then YOUR KID jinxed me and it's sucked ever since.
I do love the bar, though, because my friend Danny is the bartender.

A good rule of thumb with any Restaurant, is that if there are not many Cars in the parking lot during say Dinner, we will just drive on by, and go elsewhere. Lenny's was great about 20+ years ago. But then you're stuck with chain food out of a bag that 99.999% of the sheeple eat.
Seriously, there are any number of really REALLY good local restaurants around here, but they don't do even a fraction of the business that Bob Evans does.
