Guess I can sit out on my deck with a blanket, chair, and some cognac tomorrow night and watch the fireworks.

The show has already started. Last night was perfect for star gazing. I saw several shooting stars last night. :yay:
We saw one 2 nights ago when we were out smoking. I thought it was gonna land in our backyard:lol:

I stopped at the end of my driveway last night around 9 or so to get the mail and one streaked overhead. I could hardly believe how crystal clear the sky was nor how close the dang thing looked. I was getting ready to duck. :lmao:

Bummer. Peak was supposed to be from 11:45 PM til 1:30 AM, and I was outside for about a half an hour, but there is so much cloud cover it's hard to see anything. I did manage to see a couple, though, small ones. Anyone else seeing them?

Disappointed also, I placed a blanket and chairs outside, dressed warm with my daughter and clouds.... Sad...

Aww too bad she didn't get to see a good show. The nice thing is that it was quiet and peaceful out there while watching.

I stayed up till midnight to see it and checked the sky at both 10:30 and then again at 11:00 to make sure there were no clouds (no point in me staying up for nothing) and the sky was crystal clear and beautiful both times I checked... As soon as that thing was supposed to start full force (around 11:45) the clouds blocked my view as well. :ohwell:
