I take back all I have said about Bush ducking his obligations and taking the easy way out. Seeing how he handles a bicycle and a segway, I think we are all safer with him on the ground

Hmmm, "he fell while mountain biking on his ranch" vs. "fell when his bike hit a patch of sand".

I'd have to say I have more respect for the mountain biker. Not only that, but "Bush was on the 16th mile of a 17-mile ride when he fell...The Secret Service offered to drive him back to the house. He declined and finished his ride." vs. "They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home"

Thats what happens when you're president. You get the front page for everything you do. Little congressman don't get that, unless they're out killing interns.

We can only hope kerry won't be in a poisition come next year to have himself on the front pages.

Yawn yawn yawn. Why does the media think we care that ANYONE falls off their bike? I fall skiing all the time - if you're not falling, you're not learning - and nobody gives a crap. Bush's fall is totally uninteresting and Kerry's falls were only interesting because of his comments after.

The whitehouse said they wanted this out in the public so the media wouldn't flip out with outrageous stories when Bush appeared all bandaged up.
