Just to give a hand to those not as familiar with the living expert systems that item specific forums can be. The first is just the Dare, the second is the subsection of the Howard Forums specific to the Dare, the HF being the recognized leader in cell phone forums, evidently. I'm a member of neither, but have found very useful info on both sites.

Specifically, using BitPM to add my own wallpaper and ringtone directly from my PC, and some other useful tips like how to record a call, if you ever have a need of such.

Applied the Invisible Shield by Zagg a day and a half ago. Very well packaged, not too awful ared to install if you ever did decals in kits a a kid, kinda like that. Not noticable at all, affects the touchscreens ability to read touches in no way that I can see. Has more drag than the screen, but not enough that it bothers me.

Been using one now for a week. So far, love the phone and the pictures turn out great. I just pull out the card and copy them into my computers and send them to WalMart for development. Heck, in the long run - it's cheaper to have WalMart print them then replace the ink cartridges!:killingme:killingme:killingme

Ya know you dont gotta pull the card, as much of a pain as that is, right?

Your charging cable is also a perfectly good USB cable. After plugging into the computer and the phone do this.

1. Hit the four circles in a square button to bring up the Main Menu

2. Select "Tools and Settings", in the lower right corner.

3. Select "Tools"

4. Scroll down til you see "USB Mass Storage", hit it

It will give a you quick status change to a red "Connected" and show a big red circle with a line through it.

Now look in your "My Computer" section, there should be a new drive, that would be your memory card, inside it you'll find the standard "My Pix", "My Flix"

Sounds complex but actually quicker than fiddling with the memory card, the way they buried it.

I can assume this is via BlueTooth... if this is the case, most desktops don't have it built in. :ohwell:

.

Nope, not Bluetooth, see above, although I am still trying to get a BT connection to one of those Kodak PictureKiosks, some of them are equipped, one or two of the ones in Target, for instance.

The charging cable that comes in the box with the phone. Its a standard USB cable on one end, both charges from ANY USB port, and allows a data connection.
