So we have what about 2 inches on the roads and I havent seen one road treated in here. I had to stop twice to push people. I thought they plowed the main roads atleast in here???

somdebay said:well if what fast says is true, i'd recommend going to the front gate and navigating from there, that is the most flat route rather than the very hilly back and middle gates.
FastCarsSpeed said:BTW: For the Red Giver LOL
I Will ##### if I want. Considering the Fees I just paid to build my house and the community fee and road fee I think I have a right to ask questions so KMA baby.

Like I truely give a crap. I have 4 Wheel drive just wondering how things work here. Do they wait till the snow stops to plow??
somdebay said:red is your best friend, it keeps a smile on everyones face. Anyways...it all depends on the amount of snow, and how much they are expecting. I imagine since the weather people got it wrong about the amount they weren't as prepared. Normally in past years when we got snow the main roads were passable and the hills were treated and navigable. They will be out there if it is heavy snow, right when it starts plowing and treating...what we got was quite unexpected.
FastCarsSpeed said:Red Happens LOL. This is a really weird snow. It seems to be light but I really think its mixed in with a little sleet so its hard to tell.
CableChick said:We were out and about at 3pm today and they were out treating the roads. I've been here 13 years and they do a great job on the paved roads.
MMDad said:Most storms they do well on the roads, but once in a while they drop the ball.
The roads were in great shape around 4, but I haven't been out since.
Remember, they have a limited staff, limited budget, and almost 70 miles of roads. That doesn't mean they get a pass, but I'm not willing to pay what it would cost for them to scrape the roads much faster than they do.

just curious because, other than totally bald tires, I cant imagine having issues with 2 inches of snow.
