Light Bulbs

I need a specialty bulb for a device in my house and I was *SURE* I'd find it at Lowes.

After getting help from the staff after I searched myself, we both concluded - they do not have it - or carry it.

I've gone to Target and Wal-Mart, but their bulb selection is much smaller than Lowe's.

Before I try to find it on the Web, is there a light or hardware store in the area known for a large variety of light bulbs?

Thanks. I tried them yesterday, but I couldn't find it. Then again, without a manufacturer name or product number, I'm probably out of luck anyway. I'm going to have to look at the bulb to see if there's any numbers on it.

BTW - it's a 15 watt threaded bulb about an inch and a half in length with a square-ish end to it, and the glass itself is fairly thick - I doubt if it would break at all if dropped.

It may help if you take a picture of it and contact various online retailers via email.

Have you tried St Mary's lighting on Great Mills?

What is it used in... nightlight, flashlight, microwave?

:coffee:

It's an under the microwave light. If I look for "range hood" or "microwave" bulbs, I don't get anything like it listed. (Because lights for actual stove range hoods are big, and microwave lights are for the one INSIDE the microwave). You'd think it would be pretty easy, right?

I would try the maker of the microwave, they should sell the part or at least be able to direct you.

I looked at the bulb and found a manufacturer name. Had to guess because it was so small. Got it right on the second try. Ordered online. Thanks everyone.
