lighting stores in Southern MD?

What are you looking for? Lowes has the biggest selection of lighting I have ever seen.

I was looking for a specialty store so I can special order one. I can get it online but I wanted to compare the price to a local place and keep money in the area.

Since you're looking for something "special" I personally think on-line is the way to go. You are going to beat the price you find; besides, you most likley won't find what you want around here.

I have heard that Lowe's and Home Depot stock light fixtures based on their geographical location-i.e. closer to the metropolitian areas you would see more modern fixtures compared to something more conventional in the rural areas...

I've been in St Marys Lighting in the Park, and they have a huge selection. Try the phone book if you just want to compare prices.

I haven't been there recently but St. Mary's Electric did have a lot of different stuff than Lowes or HD.

St Mary's Lighting is where the electricians get their stuff. 'Ya can't go wrong if you shop where the pros shop.
