Liking the O's right now

I am a Nats fan, but I follow the O's too. I really like what I am seeing with the Orioles this year! I think they have what it takes to get to the World Series. Nats seem too inconsistent sometimes and choke under pressure. Could be wrong, but very impressed with the O's!

They only had three runs in Sunday's loss, but more than made up for it last night against the stinking jankees. Been an O's fan my whole my whole life, I guess, and we are the same age, so it is very nice so far this season. Went to the new Nats stadium on June 30 - a very nice ballpark - and saw the O's July 3 at Camden yards for the fireworks game while vacationing up there last month.

I think they've had their slump already. They had a terrible start to the season and everyone thought they'd finish in last place. Hopefully, Manny Machado's okay and will be back soon.

They are enjoying a 7+ game lead with < 40 games left. Should easily make the playoffs if they can avoid a major slump. Imagine a Baltimore/DC WS.

Os are looking good. Up 9+ games with 25 left to play. Not sure what their magic number is.

The Nats still have 6 games left to play against Atlanta. They need to win at least 2 of those games to avoid flopping down the stretch. 7 games up is usually a good enough lead in September.
