Bought two pints of it Monday after reading this thread. Forgot to pick up the lemons to go with it. Just found an empty carton in the trash this morning. Someone had a mighty big midnight snack. Guess he loved it!

BBQ friends of ours took us there this winter. It was awesome, and still have a few bottles. It was kind of funny when we sat down for the tasteing I noticed the bar top was part of an old bowling lane and when I mentioned it one of the partners said he brought from his home town, I ask where that was and come to find out it was where I grew up in Up State NY and I had bowled on that exact lane when I was a kid. Just goes to show you just how small the world really is.

The advertisements did get to me. I am a citrus lover and have had a bit of the real Italian liquor.

Walmart was the only place I could find it.

It's good, but it's great when you squeeze a half of a lemon over it and sit outside on a beautiful night. (guilty pleasure, I even sprinkle salt over it)

I might have gained 5 pounds.

Back to Walmart!

You need to drink the real stuff.......it wil make your clothes fall off.

I can't find the recipe online, but one of the best best best best desserts I've ever had was a lemon, with one end cut off and the insides scooped out. The lemon's then frozen and filled with limoncello until it's slushy. OH EM GEE.

While I was looking, I found this - some nice limoncello recipes. Makes you happy hot humid summer days are here. Kitchen Window -- Have Your Limoncello And Eat It, Too : NPR

I have the recipe and the lemons. Still have to search for the "everclear" or moonshine.

When I post crazier than I am now (in about 80 days) you will know why.
