Oh, yes, a Drag Show at the Zoo- how normal that is!

Like Charles Krauthammer said (back in 1993)

This is a 2 part post. To first understand Krauthammer's quote above - you would have to be familiar with Daniel Patrick Moynihan's essay from 1993. I used to have Moynihan's essay or a link to it downloaded at one time, but I couldn't find it this am. I was able to download this one, which I think is in it's entirety. (PDF attached below)

I do not care what consenting adults do or with whom have sex with or marry.

I've said before that one of my nieces is a lesbian and she and her partner are raising a daughter. They are raising her in a very traditional family values way. She's a very sweet natured and innocent child at 5.

I agree that I don't care what anyone does to get to the big "O" , but please keep it to themselves and don't bug me with it or expect me to say it's normal or something we all should do and encourage in our children.

I am sure there are many homosexual couple's who raise their kids the best way they can, but it is still not a normal family relationship. But then there are many family relationships that aren't normal either, so I guess it's a crap shoot.

Kid's don't need to be taken to a drag queen show, they don't need to learn about homosexual relations in school, and they don't need to be taught about sex in elementary school. And any parent that dresses their kids in clothes meant to be worn for the opposite sex from what they were born with needs to be arrested for child abuse.

Many women do. There are a thousand scenario's of children and their homes.
Some get to spend time with their father, some are abandoned by the father, some are kept from the father for the sake of their children, some are kept from the father by a mother who seeks revenge upon her ex-husband. In some cases the mother was never married and abandoned by the sperm donor, in some cases they decided the donor wasn't fit to be a father , and in some cases the donor is paying for a child he loves and gets to visit, and in some cases he is paying support that helps support the child while the mother took up with another man. There is no answer to every case they are all different .No one has seen them all, but I have seen enough to know that mistakes made by parents are burdened by the kids.

I don't know your story and it is none of my business, but I am happy that your kids turned out fine and I give you the credit for doing a good job despite any hardship you had.

No. This is not where it should be. It should be held in the hidden dark recessed corners of a shiat-hole city. This is nothing but the continued attempt to normalize deviant behavior. There must be a bunch of closet sodomites in St. Leonard. Maybe the owner/s of The Tavern are themselves sodomites wanting to spread their filth under the guise of "entertainment"?

Whatever happened to having just some local bands playing encouraging men and women to dance/be together for a fun night out?

No offence. And I bet she will become a product of her environment. There is no way she can be raised in a "traditional family values way" without a father present daily in her life. This is not normal and should never be normalized and should be scorned and ridiculed. She will not be so innocent the older she gets when she is constantly pounded with the "inequities and discrimination" speeches from these sexual deviants that she is bound to get as she ages. IT IS NOT NORMAL, OR HEALTHY, FOR A CHILD TO GROW UP IN SUCH AN ENVIRONMENT.

They do. All the time and I go see them when they do. I've also gone to comedy shows there. He provides/offer a lot of entertainment to the community. People don't have to go - they can just move along and go somewhere else! America - I love it!!

And some people think it's not healthy or normal for children to grow up in a broken household. OR in a heterosexual two parent household where the parents bicker all the time (or worse), Or with alcoholic parents who attend church on Sunday and act like they're holier than thou while they hit the bottle every day. OR with families who are fractured and/or gossip about the brother or the sister or the uncle as soon as they walk out of the door of a family gathering.

Ditto, both of mine from ages 7 and 12. Now one a shrink the other a 3rd grade teacher. Fought with DSS when they said "a man can't possible raise them by himself, they should be in foster care". Bullshiit I said, mind your own phucking business. Both resent my methods and sometimes me but my philosophy was "whatever it takes".
Sunday was grocery and laundry day, buy whatever you want in the Stouffer's section because the 2 or 3 meals I cooked on Monday would run out later in the week.
