List of banks in trouble

Were they not just sold?

PNC has been buying a lot of banks. They bought the Mercantile Banks here in MD in 2006. they are currently trying to buy Regions (the bank with the green bicycle commercials).

Don't know about Cedar Point, but their website says they are a member-owned not for profit financial corporation that has been in business since 1945

I'm sorry, I wasn't suggesting that CPFU was sold, but rather, MD Bank and Trust was sold. To whom, I don't recall.

The boards of directors of MD Bankcorp (MB&TC) and Old Line Bankshares (Old Line Bank) have agreed on a merger plan, but the shareholders of both companies have yet to vote on it. It's fairly certain to be approved though.
