Little Hummingbirds

Has anybody seen them yet? I put my feeders out Sunday, but I haven't seen them. According to the map, they are here.

Last Sunday I bought a new feeder for the house. No one has lived there for two years. I put the feeder up at 2PM and at 5PM a beautiful male hummingbird was making trips to the feeder every 5 minutes.

I haven't seen them yet. I'm in Northern Calvert and usually don't see mine until early to mid May. Maybe I'll put the feeder out this weekend.

We've got families of woodpeckers in our woods and have put out the seed blocks for woodpeckers on the front side of the house... love to watch the babies come peck! The huge woodpeckers live high up in the trees in the backyard and we watch them from our patio.... and I mean HUGE.

We have them too. I saw them for the first time this winter. I was in shock when I saw how big they are. Now I watch for them. I'd like to get a feeder just for them, but I think the squirrels would get to it

That has got to be the battiest hummingbird I've ever seen!!!!!

I guess I was naive, couldn't figure out why/how my Hummingbird feeders seemed low in the a.m. Sure enough bats and flying squirrels were feeding at night-found a dead flying squirrel on the door mat w/the cat looking all around like “who me?”
