Little Yellow Floor Markers marking a wet area stay there forever

No Matter the store, the school or the business, after something dries the markers are there for you to walk around or trip over. The area it is marking as a wet floor has dried for HOURS. The markers are still there. In some cases they are there are "days". The next thing you know they will invent a marker to be placed ten feet ahead of the yellow marker to warn you of it's approaching presence. We will have to make it orange in color. Kind of like the State Highway signs. They leave their signs up too, long after construction is over. Maybe the yellow Floor Markers need to be with the State Highway markers. After the project is done, they all serve the same purpose. Nothing.

So here's my idea for this, a hydroscopic dye that shows up when wet and reverts to clear when dry. That way you can be sure the floor is actually wet when it says it is. It would probably have to be printed in 18 different languages, but that's for the detail guys.

Part of the problem is that to save the Shareholders' Stock value, current corporate (at least where I work) fired the in-house custodial staff, and has cut hours for the rest of the staff. Can't be moving cones when 1 person is covering 2 - 3 departments.
