Live bands this weekend, besides the camping thing...

I have some friends coming in to town and need some entertainment for them.

Anybody have any idea what bands are playing where? Don't bother mentioning Bucksnort. I've seen and read enough about it and I already know that I'm not going.

Cryer's Backroad Inn has bands scheduled for Fri and Sat nites - can't remember the name - but I remember when I saw who was playing I thought the band on sat was gonna be really good. Usually starts at 9 and cover is $5.

Brass Rail has a dj on fri, no bands.

Cattamaran's has a dj on fri and sat.

Brewski's has a band on sat.

Toot's will probably have a band on fri - if he has enough of a crowd.

It's been a LONG time since I was at Cryers. How do I get there?
Hmmm, in your case - take 4 towards 235/Three Notch road. Cross 235/ three notch road, driving onto St. Andrews Church road. Come to the stop sign at 5 - turn right towards Leonardtown. Pass the first traffic light (for the courthouse or college) head towards the second light - turn left onto 243 (I think) There's a gas station right there. Anyway, travel up the road, pass Bull Road and the signs for Breton Bay Golf Course. Go around a big curve and when it straightens out another big curve is coming up - there will be a ball field to your right and Cryers is the white building with big gravel parking lot to your left. BTW, Cryer's does stock the goose. And if your company is anybody I know tell 'em I said :howdy:

Mmmmmm....gooooosse. :yum: Company cancelled, and it was Giker. His engagement was called off, and he was looking to get away, but something else came up. *whew*

Dunno now if I'll make it out there this weekend or not. I have plans this evening :really: and I'm on the fence about what to do with the rest of the weekend. I know what I SHOULD do, and what I WANT to do, and depending on how much I think about it, the SHOULD and WANT are the same thing. I guess it depends somewhat on how this evening goes.

 "Please don't rain, Please don't rain, Please don't rain..."
