Lobster Season?

Just sneakin' around....
Needed a couple of items, hit Aldi, Harris Teeter and Giant. They all had some form of lobster in the display cases that haven't been there in the past few weeks, even weren't there yesterday. Aldi had uncooked lobster tail 2-pac for $10, and whole cooked lobster for $10. Got a couple of each. The Harris Teeter uncooked 2-pack was a little more expensive, and were a lot smaller.

Looks like tomorrow is lobster night!

I grap a few of Aldis scallops each visit, 9 bucks a bag well spent...
Ive never seen lobsters out here, I will ask next visit.
Thanks

Giant had some bacon-wrapped sea scallops, got some of those. Also got a bag of bay scallops, don't remember where I got those. Figured I'd try them, but the last bag I got were awful. But I'm spoiled. I used to collect my own fresh bay scallops, shuck them and have them within hours of harvesting.

Eh...don't bother with the whole cooked. I made one of bugs tonight. It tasted fine and was full, but not tender at all, chewy, the claw ends were rubbery. The shell was soft, so it was tough cracking it, wound up using scissors. You'll be much better off getting fresh frozen lobster tails and cook them.
