Why wouldn't they deploy when this 'protest' was broadcasted all day?? Owing to what has happened over the last 4 or 5 days, should they have ignored it?

I meant deploy teargas. I understand why they were on site.

Okay, just checked. I see about 15 people, just standing around. I think the crowd is bigger at Popeye's Chicken at lunch.

It was a very peaceful protest. The march had a permit and the RABBLE wouldn't leave even when the Organizers of the March were encouraging them to do so.

So they got walked back to the parking lot by their own personal escorts.

What caused the cops to deploy?

There was a permit for the protest and a certain time limit for it. the crowd would not disperse after several attempts to get them to do so. (By the police and the organizers of the event) That is what my informant told me.

Have any of you in St. Mary's heard anything about a person or people being run off of the road and forced to kneel and apologize? A FB friend reposted it from the original poster but I don't know if it is true.

Yep a person leaving the Sanner's Lake property. Kind of odd that they would eff with someone coming out of a shooting range.

i got an email with more details and i thought the same thing. It had the Jussie Smollet feel to it.

That being said, if it did happen i think the police should throw the book at the culprits.

From what I read on the FB St. Mary's 2A page, the guy that this happened to was allegedly leaving Sanners lake and was a SERE school trained pilot (?). I just didn't buy it, especially if he just left the range.

I could see someone trying to rob you of your guns as you are leaving, but this sounded different.
Detained, but not robbed or assaulted. It just seems weird

It does seem stupid on the protester's part for sure. Maybe they were into provoking an incident as in death by a Sanner's Lake member ? I am not sure how I would have reacted probably not well.
