Log & Timber buyers, Black Walnut & Poplar

Looking for any amish or anyone in the southern MD area, looking to purchase black walnut or poplar wood??? Anyone have any suggestions?? Please let me know.

try posting in 'Home and Garden' section. You could go to the Amish mill in Loveville or Charlotte hall and ask. Or another lumber yard or someone with a mill might want it.

There is a sawmill on Thompson corner Rd. that purchases wood but you have to deliver. There is a wood cutting company at the end of Flora corner (well it is a couple guys with their own little company and trucks that live at the end of flora corner) that will come and load it or log it off your property take it and sell it and give you half they keep half. I found that out on accident when we needed a big tree removed that was threatening our house and called them for a quote. I thought their price was high at first but then to my surprise they were paying me the approximate quote LOL I told them they could take all they wanted. Sorry I can not find or remember the number. will keep looking.
