Lone Survivor

Strung Out
Bad book. Bad mission. For bad reasons; bad leadership and I don't mean the team. They should have never been allowed to go in the first place. Everything that was likely to go wrong with the mission did and it was simple luck that it wasn't worse, as in more losses trying to go get them.

I have every expectation of a bad movie.

Now, Luttrell surviving is one hell of a story. The way his comrades died was 100% warrior hero stuff and it is very compelling the dilemma they faced when their cover was blown by the shepherd boy and it is fascinating how the people who took him in, culturally, would die trying to protect a stranger who they'd welcomed into their home.

Maybe it won't suck? Maybe it won't be a CYA for their direct leadership?

I wish James Caviezel had been chosen instead of Mark Wahlberg.

Marcus Luttrell seems pleased with the movie so, I have to trust well done.
