Look what I found!!

What?!
I was going thru the very top my of mom's closest and I found this, It's my grandfather's old camera!! :yahoo: He passed away before I was born. I'm so excited I ran across it! I'm afraid to take it outta the case, I don't want it falling apart.

The next Argus camera was the Model C2. It was manufactured in 1938 and was the first of the distinctively shaped, square-cornered, range finder cameras which were popularly referred to as the "Brick."

Hubby said the hug you gave him did him more good than he thought it did you. He gets uncomfortable in those situations but he loves you so much. You're his bestest friend there.

That's awesome. You should contact the giant about it as he collects old cameras and might have some maintenance advice.

My dad and I both had one. I even had a telephoto lens and a wide angle lens for mine. Haven't seen it in a while... think it may be at my dad's place. He never throws out anything.....

:yay: Good find!

I think timing of things is interesting. How great that you found this "gift from your mom" just at the time you needed it the most. :huggy:

He may talk a lot of crazy BS at times, but he has a kind heart! Having so many great people around me is what has gotten me through this! :huggy:

I'll be sending him a PM shortly! I can't help but wonder if there is any film in there and what is on there. Or even if the film is salvageable.

I thought the same thing. My mother was some what of a pack rat. But in a situation like this, it's interesting and exciting cause you never know what you are gonna run across.

Fantastic find! How neat to find this bond with your grandfather - a fellow shutterbug. My parents once found a camera they'd forgotten about for 30 years. It still had film in it and most of the pictures turned out okay. Hope you find that extra treasure.

Stay strong. :huggy:

That really is cool! I love seeing "old time" things. We have an old Kodak that looks like it's at least 50 years old. Actually, we have all kinds of antiques I'd love to know more about.

Take care!
