Look what I got this weekend!

This species is called Pomacanthus imperator, or the Emperor angelfish. The one I got is about 10 inches long. He's already eating from my fingers, and he makes grunting noises when he comes to the top of the tank for food! He is absolutely beautiful.

Wonder what it would taste like if it was battered and fried like BK does his fish? :lmao:

Ken - as soon as my boyfriend saw the size of this guy, he was reaching for the Old Bay! I had to swat his hands out of the tank several times when I had my four Gulf shrimp!

LOL! The boyfriend knows better than to eat my pets! Actually, they have all gone to that big shrimp basket in the sky. The species I had has a lifespan of around 6 months in the wild. They were really cool while they lasted, though! The only shrimp I have now is a cleaner shrimp - the red and white kind with the really long antennae. He should be around for about 2 more years. He's neat, too - it's cool to watch the fish hover at his "cleaning station" while he does his thing!
