Looking for a new Pediatrician

The on-base Pediatrician, Dr.Yoon, is retiring at the end of August and while I have had my differences with him, I felt comfortable with him. The base has not yet secured a replacement and I am not comfortable starting the school year with a single provider at the Ped Clinic in case of an emergency and actually even for the regular visits (it's hard enough now to get on the schedule).

Anyway, does anybody have a recommendtion for a ped that accepts Tricare Prime?

Thanks!

I can't agree more. Dr. Sheth is absolutely, possitively, wonderful - I wouldn't go anywhere else. He goes above and beyond and was there when I needed him, when I had given birth to a sick baby. 9pm at night and he came to my room to check on me and give me a status report that he had gotten himself from Childrens hospital docs. He also wanted to be sure I was o.k. and knew he and his wife and staff would be there for us - and they were and still are. I adore him and would never go anywhere else. I good doctor is hard to find.

Thanks for your responses!

After speaking with the base clinic a few times, it turns out I can not change providers without the CO's (of the clinic) approval and the person who processes that paperwork will not be back to base until Monday. Hopefullly it will all work out and we'll switch out soon. I have heard so many good things about Dr Sheth, I don't think he accept Tricare Prime though. Dr Dhillon works with Dr Sheth as a back-up and he accepts Prime so I'll probably swith there.
