I am new to the area and I am looking for a softball team to play for . I have played on both men's and co-ed teams for 20 years now . I am currently living in the Avenue area and would be willing to play within a decent distance to play. I can be contacted via email and then I can give you my contact number and we can go from there . My email address is timmmy67@yahoo.com , yes it does have 3 m's in it (LOL) . Thanks for looking and hope to be hearing from you all very soon as I am very eager to get back out on the diamond this season .

Contact Recreation and Parks at 301-475-4200 X1800 and ask them for the adult league contact name and number. They will give it to you. Good Luck!

I think there are going to be two teams at the Capt Sams field this year. I'll get you some info when I get home tonite and send it to you. Young Mens' play on wkends and SloPitch play Tues and Thurs. There is no organized Coed leagues down here but there are a couple of coed tourneys in the County this yr. Check back in tonite after 6, I'll send you the info.

 I have a feeling, since we have a tourny this weekend, 2nd half will be your best bet now in St. Marys....

No, I don't think any of the rosters have been turned in. It all depends on who you play your first league game with. I don't know about the Church league at Chanc Run

Oh, Church league...haha, you can almost just show up and say Id like to play, and you can....

As for Slow Pitch and Young Mens, most teams already have all there starters in place, there bench players, and have what how many they want to carry on there team.... but I thought whomever you played with in Early Bird, you were stuck/had to stay with till 2nd half.....

Just walk into Brass Rail any week night around 6:00. There's bound to be one or two softball players there. Or send UnixPirate a pm. He used to coach. I'm not sure if he still does. Not sure if you were born in 1967 like I'm assuming. But if you are then you can join him in the Rocking Chair League next year.

He's gonna kill me for that crack. :neener:

Yeah, its going to be a little chilly. Least the winds won't be so bad.

I may swing it in game 3, depends on how it really feels out I guess.. I need to get it broke in, and its under warranty, might be a good time to get some more swings on it during game 2 and 3, really find out what this thing is about
