Looking for a Wii for a Xmas present

Anyone have info or insight into getting a Wii before Xmas. That is the one Xmas gift that has eluded me this year. I always miss it. I am not trying to go the Ebay route. So if anyone has info I would appreciate it.

Check out circuit city's website first thing in the mornign everyday. You sould be able to pick one up within the next week.

Gamestop gets periodic shipments of a few...but that requires some dedication to get...if you honestly need it ON Xmas you may want to suck it up, blow an extra $100 and get it on ebay.

I hear Wal-Mart gets shipments from time to time but you have to get to them before they get off the pallet or its like invisble gremlins buy them... hrm... you may have to try ordering them offline from Target or wherever to keep from fighting fat old ladies for it...

Gamestop is primarly used stuff, they wouldn't have a draw for new systems for sale... if I want it new, EB Games would be a better guess, but since its owned by Electronic Boutique people, it's like the same store... but if you're looking for games, Gamestop is the place if you don't mind it used, which i sure as all get up don't...

Target (California) had several 360s when I was there on Wednesday (13th).

thats not a true mod. I don't really consider a dvd firmware flash a mod. When you have the ability to run unsigned code on the system thats a mod.

I do agrea and think the 360 is my favorite of the 3 new systems.

it is a true mod because it allows me to play burned games.... changing the firmware is truly modifying the firmware so therefore itsa mod !!

basically when all these suckers are out there spending 60 bucks a game, i am spending 1.50 on a dvd+r dl blank

It is still nothing like they could do with the original xbox.
