looking for an artist

We have a beautiful old oak tree in our back yard that is slowly dying away. I think it was struck by lightning. Anyway, I'm thinking of having someone come over and paint a picture of it.....maybe watercolor? Any suggestions for an artist would be appreciated. :howdy:

I didn't know you did stuff like that (art work). You are a jack of many trades as they say. Yes, I'd like to see some of your work.

Has confinement issues..
After you get your painting, cut away a good part of the tree and have a chainsaw carver make you something from the stump.

Imagine if it continued to grow.. It would look pretty cool.

that is a really cool idea. I think I know of a guy in Colton's Point who does chainsaw carving.....hmmm. Thanks :howdy:

I think that so long as the entire root system isn't dead, you'll get new growth on the carving...

I suggest a large face like the green man or that treee guy form Lord of the Rings..I want pics !!
