Looking for Camcorder Recommendations

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a camcorder (brand and model) in the "under $300" price range. I'm mainly interested in recording my son's high school and summer baseball games. Thanks!

Panasonic VD-100. Its a dvd camcorder, very nice you just finalize the disc when you are done and it works in any dvd player. You can also change the format and hold anywhere from 18min in the highest quality video to 118 min in the ower quality(cant really tell much of a difference unless you use a huge TV). Have used mine several times and its pretty compact, it can fit in my pocket. Im sure they have a newer version, or model now, but i think the DVD ones are pretty good.

I have also heard great things about the Hard drive ones, but im not sure how the file compression works going from the HD to a DVD or computer.
